The Water of Life

“Our lives are like the amount of water we might take from the great sea and hold in our hands. We call this “I”.Yet it is the same as calling the water our water because we hold it in our hands. “ Koichi Tohei, Ki in Daily Life

All our lives are just part of the same great sea. Our separateness from one another is an illusion – the same as the separateness of one drop of water from another in the same container.

How then can we hate and wage war on another?

But we can flow together very easily and positively!

Try flowing with everyone you meet today!

Reality, Magic and Information – Are You Ready for Change?

We cannot perceive reality through our 6 senses, only information we perceive to be about reality.

We can’t tell what’s really there in the Quantum Foam, which the quantum physicists tell us is all they can find when they look for reality.

What we call Magic is the magician’s power to change the information we perceive about reality by his or her intention…

The good news is…You are your own magician – you can change the information you receive about your own reality by your own intention! In fact – you always have!

But here’s the thing.

All the new information you receive which you perceive to be about reality is filtered through your beliefs about reality.

The general result is whatever new information you receive will only get through to you if it reinforces your existing beliefs. The rest will usually be discarded.  Which is where you are stuck.

That’s why you need someone else with new information about what your reality could be if you were willing to stop filtering it out and try it on for size. (Clue: You are much bigger and richer than you think!)

That information could be as simple as – why not focus on intending to be healthy (positive) rather than getting rid of an illness (negative) because your subconscious doesn’t understand getting rid of an illness and just gets “focus on the illness”.

Or the information could be in the form of healing energy which bypasses the sieve of your beliefs altogether as long as you are willing to let it in – and it can transform your reality from the inside.

In the Celestine Prophecy, James Redfield suggested that when you meet people by coincidence it is often because you have some information they need and vice versa.

Be open to new information from others! Even if at first your tendency is to reject it (filter it out).

And see how your reality opens up as a result!

And if I can help you with healing energy, please contact me to book a session.

7 Billion Others…

“Without deep reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people .” Albert Einstein.

And there are 7 billion others on the Earth.

How many of these ‘others’ does your life touch? And does your life uplift and inspire them or drag them down further into their perception that life is a mire they have to struggle against?

Who in your life uplifts and inspires you?

Can you take a leaf out of their book and do the same for others today?

Co-existence

I believe that we each live in our own World, with our own unique problems, our own unique lessons to learn and our own unique attitudes to take to everything we experience. There is no need to compete or to win over another, no need for our gain to be another’s loss; that is a fiction. Love can cross between our different Worlds, as can hate. Love will always expand another person’s World and our own when we express it. Hate will always do the opposite. Co-existence is more than just living alongside. By helping others we help ourselves. What path will you take?

We are here to help one another over the wall

In the movie An Officer and a Gentleman Richard Gere has the choice at the end of the film of running the assault course in the fastest time and getting the glory of having set a new record or of going back and encouraging and supporting his colleague to climb over the wall so she could complete the course and graduate. If you’ve seen the film you’ll know that he goes back and helps her climb it, actually climbing it with her to spur her on. She gets over the wall and graduates.

What choice would you make?

I believe we are put here to help one another over the walls in life that each of us hit sometimes, me included.

That is my choice.

I am happy to encourage by email (see my Contact Me page) those of you who have hit a wall and if you book a session with me to help in that way too with the Healing techniques I do.

Please get in touch if you’re stuck and need some help.

Best wishes

Bill

Would you make the same choice?

Two Choices

Sometimes healing by touch is about you touching another’s life and making a big difference. I was sent the following in an email.

“What would you do? You make the choice. Don’t look for a punch line, there isn’t one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended.

After extolling the school and its
Dedicated staff, he offered a question:

‘When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.

Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.

Where is the natural order of things in my son?’

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. ‘I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.’

Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball.

Shay asked, ‘Do you think they’ll let me play?’

I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play.

The boy looked around for guidance and said, ‘We’re losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we’ll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.’

Shay struggled over to the team’s bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt..

I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay’s team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.

In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay’s team scored again.

Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat.

Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn’t even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the Plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay’s life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The game would now be over.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.

Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman’s head, out of reach of all team mates.

Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, ‘Shay, run to first!

Run to first!’

Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base. He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, ‘Run to second, run to second!’

Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.

By the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball. The smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher’s intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman’s head.

Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.

All were screaming, ‘Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay’

Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, ‘Run to third! Shay, run to third!’

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming,

‘Shay, run home! Run home!’

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team

‘That day’, said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, ‘the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world’.

Shay didn’t make it to another summer.

He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!

AND NOW A LITTLE FOOT NOTE TO THIS STORY:

We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail without a second thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people hesitate.

The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and workplaces.

If you’re thinking about forwarding this message, chances are that you’re probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren’t the ‘appropriate’ ones to receive this type of message Well, the person who sent you this believes that we all can make a difference….

We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the ‘natural order of things.’

So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice:

Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process?

A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats it’s least fortunate amongst them.

You now have two choices:

1. Delete

2. Forward”

In the run up to the end of the current Mayan Calendar…

I can’t believe that it’s over six months since my last post ….. but I think that’s one of the things I’ve read recently that said time is accelerating – or am I just getting older?

I’ve been busy doing other things, including healing, culminating in taking part in an energy healing group on 12.12.12 wih a number of other healers. We circulated round about a dozen people and I gave healing to most of them. When I put my hands on one woman’s shoulders I felt I had just stepped into an express elevator – I felt myself lifted upwards with a whoosh and had to open my eyes to check my feet were still on the floor! (They were). The odd thing was that when I spoke to her afterwards she was completely unaware of what I had felt and had not experienced that herself. In fact for the others that I spoke to, they too had experienced something different from me in each case.

Which leads me to the subject of my post. What was the basis of my experience when giving healing to that woman? Was it something in me personally being affected by her energy or the energy I was channeling to her? Or was I picking up some unexpressed and unconscious power within her that had been triggered by the energy? And I will probably never know the answer to that.

You see the whole thing is a deep mystery! The reality is I that do not know where the energy that I transfer to others comes from or how indeed I transfer it and I certainly don’t know what they do with it when they get it.

What I do know is from what they’ve told me for over 30 years is that people feel the benefit of that energy – and that’s good enough for me.

If you would like to receive some of that energy please contact me using the Contact Me page above!

And what do I think will happen on 21/12/12? I believe it may be the beginning of a new phase of the spiritualisation of the matter that we inhabit – but I really don’t know that either!

It’s obvious to you why you came to me for healing – it’s not so obvious to me.

When you come to me wanting healing for something in your body your reason for coming is obvious – to you. It’s not so obvious to me.

I’m conscious that that something in your body may be just a symptom of something different – a need to change something in your life. That could be your physical lifestyle. It could be letting go of old emotional stuff. Or changing the way in which you see yourself, which I believe is getting closer to the root cause, as how we see ourselves is the key to how others see and treat us.

So much of what we experience as human beings is in relationships, both with ourselves and with others. In her book ‘The Bond’ by Lynne McTaggart she describes the scientific research that shows that we cannot even look at another person, even a complete stranger, without unconsciously putting ourself in their place and trying to experience what they appear to be experiencing. That may be painful and we may immediately shut ourselves off from that, but it’s fundamentally who we are, how we are built to be. The same goes for remembering how we felt in past experiences we had, the painful ones.

In the process of shutting ourselves off in this way I believe we also shut ourselves down and cut ourselves off from the universal energy that we need to sustain ourselves and that’s where our problems begin.

What I aim to do in each energy healing session is to re-connect you to the universal energy and remind you how good it feels to have that connection you were born with. From there it’s up to you. You can either say that was great and cut yourself off again as you go out the door or you can keep the connection going even though it means you will have to be more open to yourself and to others. I hope you will choose the latter.

And the problem you came in with, the reason you came in?

I believe that if you stay re-connected to the universal energy, you (your body, mind, soul and spirit) will have all you need to heal yourself. You were born with that connection and only you can break it.

With love

Healing meaning Beneficial Change

From a number of books I’ve read recently (especially The Physics of Miracles – see Links and Sources I’ve found helpful) and a practical workshop on Matrix Energetics last Saturday I’ve concluded that focusing on healing a specific physical condition is focusing on and giving energy to (reinforcing) that person’s Problem Set, whereas it is much better to focus on The Solution Set – of how that person might be if they were totally whole and at ease – and that would mean in all spheres of their being: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual etc. To that end I am now a stand for healing as beneficial change in a person, a change towards that whole and at ease state and will always now help look for that change for those who come to me.
